ABOUT ME!

Sarah Mello Trudel

Caring for animals has been my life's work. Following a 20 year long career in professional animal care -

I shifted my focus to building my own small business - to help many more animals find comfort and relaxation through individualized bodywork.  I have owned and ridden horses for 35 years.

A lifelong animal lover, I was the kid in school with the "petting zoo" at home! Can you relate? The older I became,  the more I fully realized how strong my connection to the animal world was - and began pursuing a career involving them.

An equestrian inside and out, I began waddling around in the barn with my cousins at the age of 4, and never stopped! While I competed throughout my youth, junior and collegiate years in equitation and hunter/jumpers - I have shifted my focus with horses to equine language and foundation horsemanship.

A biologist by trade, I worked hard to become an animal care professional, and moved through the ranks from apprentice to animal curator and then served the federal government as an equine subject matter expert.  With decades of work experience assisting veterinarians, I see things from a wholistic perspective - honoring both western and eastern wellness philosophies.

An empath and intuitive with a heart focused on quiet and compassionate understanding.  I have always had a deep and quiet connection with animals.  My work with the energetic side of things began long ago and I will not rush your animal through any sessions.  I strive to keep them informed and comfortable.

A yogi in life, I've been teaching mindfulness and Yin Yoga to groups and individuals since 2019.  I now also offer group or private instruction to equestrians at your farm or location of choice.

A mom and a wife shape what I do today.  My husband has been in law enforcement for over 20 years, and my son is a Merchant Mariner working at sea on transport vessels.  We love our country, and do our best to serve it well.
